GOLF &
CRUISING -- WHAT A COMBINATION
Imagine being on a cruise ship gliding along a
coast, then getting off every day with your own
golf clubs to play the most well-known courses
in the country. There are instruction videos
about golf; a golf pro accompanies the cruise,
discussing technique and giving individual analysis and
pointers, and a caddy cleans clubs and has them waiting at the next port ready
for play. Tee times and pairings are arranged, and passengers
arrive at each port finding their bags on the cart, ready to go.
You can
combine golf with a cruise on both small ships and big ones. Or you can charter
a ship and put together your own group
for a golf cruise or
combine golf with team-building and a corporate meeting at
sea.
Here are
small ships that offer popular golf programs on some of their cruises.
