- Itinerary: The
vessel travels along the Mississippi, Ohio, Missouri, Tennessee, Cumberland,
and Atchafalaya Rivers and Texas-Louisiana Gulf Intracoastal
Waterway.
- Cabins: 98. Staterooms
are all outside, 200 sq. ft., and have windows, air-conditioning, satellite
TV/VCR, telephone, mini refrigerator and private bath with shower
and tub. Some staterooms have balconies.
- Dining: There is an open-seating dining room with
one seating. In addition to mainstream American food, there are offerings of
Cajun crawfish boils, Texas shrimp
boils, fried catfish, barbecues and other local specialties.
- Dress: Casual.
- Facilities and Activities: This
vessel is actually two custom-built
barges permanently attached together and pushed by a towboat. The forward
barge houses the dining room, a two-deck
theater, lounge, meeting facility, and several other public rooms.
The aft barge houses the staterooms. Local entertainment is featured,
including gospel music, Delta blues, zydeco, and mariachi bands.
Cruises are designed
to emphasize local culture and guests are given the opportunity to experience
the food, music, attractions, and events unique to the areas visited.
