- Itinerary: There are seven-night cruises of the Galapagos Islands.
Of 50 visitor sites, about 10 are visited on any given seven-night cruise.
When the eco-system shows wear and tear from tourism, sites are closed
and others used.
- Cabins: 21. Cabins are all outside with air-conditioning, twin or
double beds and private bath with shower.
- Dining: There is an open-seating dining room
with one seating. Breakfast and lunch are buffet.
Menu is international with Ecuadorian specialties.
One night is a gala with a whole roasted
pig.

Totally casual.

There is a lounge and a reading
and card room. Boat anchors offshore and passengers go to islands by tender. .Some landings
are wet, some
dry. There are two multilingual naturalist
guides who accompany guests on all shore excursions. Passengers swim and snorkel
in addition to observing wildlife on shore hikes. Some excursions involve
staying in the small panga boats and cruising along beneath cliffs to observe
birdlife. Masks, snorkels and flippers are available to rent. A clothes dryer is
available for drying clothes.

- Itinerary: There are three, four
and seven-night cruises in the Galapagos Islands. One of the stops is the Charles Darwin Research Station
in Puerto Ayora. At breeding season visitors see young tortoises hatched
from incubated eggs. When they are old enough to survive, they are returned
to various islands.
- Cabins: 48. Cabins are all outside, have air-conditioning and have
a private bath with shower. There are single, double, triple and quad cabins
and four suites.
- Dining: There is an open-seating dining room
with one seating. Food
is continental and local.
- Dress: Casual. Bring shoes for sometimes rocky walking.
- Facilities and Activities:
Flippers, masks and snorkels are available to rent on board.
There is a jacuzzi on the sun deck. A fleet of pangas take guests ashore for
interaction with Galapagos wildlife. Island hikes
are led by naturalist guides, who give lectures and slide shows in the evenings. Urbina
Bay offers the chance to see giant tortoises in the wild. There are options of
short or long hikes of various difficulty and swimming and snorkeling. They have a glass bottom boat.

$1,784 to $3,625 for seven night. Fare includes sightseeing excursions
and air from Quito or Guayaquil. Children under 12 are 50% off if sharing
